Come explore Bluebird Backcountry at Bear Mountain! Get away from the crowds for a day of backcountry skiing or riding across 1,200 private acres of aspen glades, open meadows, and steeper lines.
Your day pass provides access to the property plus comforts that you won’t find in the true backcountry, such as pre-set skin tracks, avalanche-evaluated terrain, ski patrol, mid-mountain warming huts, fun on-mountain challenges, and a beacon park to practice avalanche rescue skills.
You’ll be one of our special guests, as we allow no more than 200 people per day on the property. Our hope is to provide you with a memorable backcountry experience that is relatively uncrowded, powder-filled, and COVID-friendly. We can’t wait to see you there!

At Bluebird Backcountry, we believe backcountry education should begin before you arrive for the first day of your avalanche course.
